You went solar. Why are you still paying a bill?

The real reason

It's not a bad system. Your utility changed the rules.

It's not that you got a bad solar company that sold you a bad system. Your utility company may have changed how it credits you. It used to credit you 1 to 1 for the power your panels send back. Now many are crediting you pennies on the dollar.

We can help fix that.

Why it happens

Five things that quietly push your bill back up.

01

Buyback credits got cut

Many utilities now pay you far less for the power you send back than they charge you for the power you pull. Same panels, smaller credit.

02

Utility rates keep climbing

Every rate hike makes the power you still buy more expensive. Your system was sized for yesterday's prices.

03

No battery to store your own power

Without storage, you sell your solar cheap during the day and buy it back at full price at night. A battery keeps that power in your home.

04

Your system or your usage changed

An inverter goes down, a switch gets flipped off, or you add an EV, a pool or more people at home. Any of these quietly pushes your bill back up.

05

Your plan expired or you're on the wrong plan

Many solar owners signed up for a plan built for solar, then it quietly expired and rolled them onto a standard rate. Others were never put on the right plan to begin with. Either way, the right plan can make a big difference on your bill.

Questions

Straight answers.

Is the review really free?

Yes. The 15-minute Zoom costs nothing and there's no obligation. If there's nothing to fix, we'll tell you.

My system is leased or financed. Can you still help?

Yes. We review owned, leased, loan and PPA systems from any installer. Battery backup can often be added to an existing system without touching your current agreement.

Do I need to switch away from my installer?

No. This is an independent second look at the system you already have. You keep everything you have now.

What should I have ready for the call?

A recent electric bill and, if you have it, access to your solar monitoring app. If you don't, no problem. We'll work with what you have.

Will someone pressure me to buy?

No. The goal is to show you what's happening with your bill. What you do with that is up to you.

Your panels did their part. Let's finish the job.

Free 15-minute review. No home visit. No pressure.
